Forever 21 Coming to The River
Grosvenor Fund Management (“GFM”), a privately-owned, international real estate investment management company, is pleased to announce that the Los Angeles-based retailer Forever 21 will open a new store at The River lifestyle shopping center later this year. Offering 228,000 square feet of high quality retailing, The River is located in Rancho Mirage at the intersection of Highway 111 and Bob Hope Drive.
Forever 21’s opening at The River adds a market-dominant soft goods retailer which will complement The River’s existing entertainment and restaurant anchors - Century Theaters, Cheesecake Factory, The Yardhouse, Flemings and PF Chang’s, among others.

GFM Managing Director, Robert R. Kilroy, noted that the Forever 21 store’s design at The River is consistent with Forever 21’s current prototype and that the store opening is likely to coincide with the start of the 2012 Holiday season. “We believe that Forever 21’s choice of The River will enhance the property’s reputation as one of the premier retail destinations in the Coachella Valley.” Forever 21 will occupy the former Border’s Books facility.
