Forever 21 announces the June 25 opening of its new 90,000+ square foot East Coast flagship location at 1540 Broadway, the heart of Times Square in New York City. Featuring four floors of eye-popping retail space that proudly embraces its New York City surroundings, the global brand brings its fashionable women’s and men’s clothing and accessories at a great value to the Crossroads of the World. Offering a broader selection of novel and fashion-forward selections than its existing Manhattan locations, the new 90,000+ square foot flagship sets new records as the largest single brand apparel store in Manhattan and the largest Forever 21 storefront on the East Coast. Forever 21 CEO Don Chang will be on hand on June 25 at 10 AM to officially open the doors to shoppers and celebrate the milestone occasion.

The Forever 21 flagship store in Times Square boasts an array of features that make the store a must-see shopping experience. The space embraces its iconic location with design elements including an authentic New York City taxicab on the retail floor, scaffolding treatments, innovative use of street carts and oversized accessory props that reflect the widely-recognized neighborhood. In addition, the expansive store amplifies its distinct product offerings with unique architectural elements. Kids and parents will be wowed by the oversized tree house installation on visual display in the children’s department, while shoppers looking for some extra glamour in their life are sure to love the store’s chic Gold Stud Room. Throughout the four floors, display cases highlight mannequin looks that are constantly updated and presented with a museum exhibition element totally unique to the Times Square location. In addition, the Faith 21 collection is featured in a new prototype boutique, and the 21 Men line is offered in a first-of-its kind stylish section. Amongst all of the fabulous new features, shoppers will be able to try on their favorite looks in one of the store’s 151 fitting rooms and quickly complete their purchases at any of the 32 customer registers available.
The new flagship location will make good use of a cutting-edge 30’ x 50’ LCD screen mounted above the main door entrance for all of Times Square to see. Prior to June 25, the store will activate a digital countdown on the screen that will tick away until the official 10 AM grand opening. The screen will also be utilized during the opening day activities in a variety of ways not seen before at any other Forever 21 retail stores.

To celebrate the momentous occasion, Forever 21 has planned a variety of exciting customer giveaways and in-store experiences for its grand opening day. The first 1,000 people to walk through the doors on June 25 will receive gift cards with secret values ranging from $10 - $210 to make the most of the expansive shopping environment. In addition, Forever 21 “New York City Essentials” including stylish umbrellas and reusable water bottles will be handed out to visitors throughout the day’s festivities, while custom-made beach cruisers will be raffled off to lucky shoppers. Opening day guests will also enjoy exciting activities throughout the space including complimentary Love and Beauty make-up demonstrations, manicure stations and red carpet paparazzi photo booths and more.
